Profile Section: Certain information in your profile is always visible to other users, including your username and profile image. Your profile image is stored in a public location and may be accessible to anyone on the internet.

You can control the visibility of other profile details through your privacy settings, including:

• Age
• Gender
• Height
• Wingspan
• Weight
• Ape Index

Climb Media: When you upload photos or videos to climbing locations or climbs (not your profile), these are stored in a public location and may be accessible to anyone on the internet. Do not upload content you wish to keep private.

• Allow you to share content with other users based on your privacy settings.
• Personalize your experience and show relevant content.

When you delete your account:

• Your contributed location data, photos, and beta videos will be retained as part of our climbing knowledge base
• These contributions will become part of the permanent climbing route documentation
• Your username will be changed to "Former User" on retained content

Important Note About Beta Videos and Photos: When you upload beta videos or photos to climbing routes, you:

• Understand that these uploads are stored in a public location and may be accessed by anyone on the internet.
• Agree that these are instructional content for the climbing community
• Grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to maintain this content even after account deletion
• Can request removal of specific videos/photos where you are clearly identifiable by contacting privacy@betasprayer.com

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Future Monetization

BetaSprayer may in the future offer monetization features, including displaying third-party advertisements and offering merchandise sales through our app.
